The result of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2017 will be finally be declared today, on June 20, by the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE). All those candidates who had appeared for the exam are required to check their respective results, once declared, at the official website cbseneet.nic.in

The result will also be available at cbseresults.nic.in and results.gov.in

About NEET exam:

The exam was held on May 7. A total of 11,38,890 students registered for this examination including 1522 NRIs, 480 OCIs, 70 PIOs and 613 Foreigners. This exam was conducted in 10 languages at 1921 exam centres in 103 cities.

Steps to check the result

  • Log on to the official website www.cbseneet.nic.in
  • Click on the link for ‘CBSE NEET 2017: Result’
  • In the provided fields, enter your roll number and other required details
  • Click on submit
  • Your result will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the same and take a print out for future reference

The Supreme Court has earlier directed the CBSE to declare the (NEET results putting a stay on the Madras High Court’s order restraining publication of results. The top court had asked CBSE to declare NEET 2017 results before 26 June.

Expected cut-off:

“The cut-off for general category would be between 380 and 410,” said expert Rajshekhar Ratrey, VP Educational Content of Toppr.
