Macaroni, which originated from Italy, is a variety of dry pasta. It is a vegetarian dish made up of wheat, refined bleached flour or semolina. You can add a dash of finely chopped mixed fruits of your choice to make it to give that special flavour.

Here’s a quick recipe on Fruity Macaroni Salad
Macaroni     2 Cups
Carrot         1 (Finely chopped)
Capsicum    1 (Finely chopped)
Onion          1 (Finely chopped)
Pineapple tin 1 (Small)
Mayonnaise   6 tbsp
Sugar           2 tsp
Salt              1 tsp
Black pepper  1 tsp
  • Boil macaroni like you boil noodles for about 8-10 minutes, till tender. Strain the water with the help of a sieve and pour cold water on it so as to avoid stickiness. Let it get cool in the strainer.
  • Add chopped vegetables, chopped pineapples, and spices in it.
  • Add sugar and mayonnaise and mix it well gently.
  • Refrigerate it and serve cool.

It takes only 15-20 minutes to make this salad. It is easy to digest and good to taste.
