Weekend special: Easy to make healthy ”Fruity Macaroni Salad”
Macaroni, which originated from Italy, is a variety of dry pasta. It is a vegetarian dish made up of wheat, refined bleached flour or semolina. You can add a dash of finely chopped mixed fruits of your choice to make it to give that special flavour.
- Boil macaroni like you boil noodles for about 8-10 minutes, till tender. Strain the water with the help of a sieve and pour cold water on it so as to avoid stickiness. Let it get cool in the strainer.
- Add chopped vegetables, chopped pineapples, and spices in it.
- Add sugar and mayonnaise and mix it well gently.
- Refrigerate it and serve cool.
It takes only 15-20 minutes to make this salad. It is easy to digest and good to taste.
